Blue glass scent bottle enclosed in an elaborated openwork cage showing two Saints. Rare closure.

Blue, glass flat round scent bottle enclosed in a gilded silver openwork cage showing, on the front, Saint Ulrich (identified by the fish – protector of the city of Augsburg), and on the other one Saint Francis of Assisi praying in front of the crucifix. The peculiarity of this bottle is in the opening method: the cap is welded to the cage and allows the sprinkling of the liquid contained, but, to fill the bottle, it is necessary to unscrew the pin that holds the two parts in which it is enclosed. Short suspension chain. In my opinion probably a vessel for sacred scent oil.
