Early Palais Royal presentation with swinging glass scent bottle

Brass stand with wooden base, covered in gilded silk with four shield-shaped plates as feet. On this base is placed an arch, resting on two segmented balls, decorated with acanthus leaves, two small blue and white porcelain bells and a festoon garland surmounted by a peacock. From the arch hangs a swing that supports a hexagonal glass scent bottle with red and white spirals and matching cap.
