Silver compendium composed of 7 modular pieces
Solid silver embroidery compendium. Heavy and solid (weighs 44.6 grams), it stands on an unengraved seal base. It unscrews into 7 pieces: at the bottom is the seal and then a case for the needles; then there is a compartment with a holed stopper for the vinaigrette and the compartment for the sponge. Above is a flat compartment for the wax and a double spool for the thread. The thimble attaches at the top (opening approx. 14.4 mm in diameter). Decorated with diagonal bands with various turning and engraving patterns..
