Souvenir scent bottle from the First World War – Trench Art

Metal scent bottle, example of Trench Art (most commonly lighters, so called briquet, letter openers, inkwells, ecc.). On one side the Belgian Lion and the words “Lens, Vimy Roeux, Buillecourt”; on the other side the French Singing Cockerel and the word “Craonne 304”. These towns were the scene of bloody battles between April 1917 and May 1918.
