Octagonal porcelain scent bottle with a white bedded rim. The front is painted with a miniature depicting a lone figure standing in front of a white castle in a romantic landscape. The back has a circular white space with the inscription “Espoir” (Hope). Both sides are surrounded by a gold leaf border. Gold cap, possibly later.
