Metal scent bottle with the enamelled British lion and the word Wembley, made for the British Empire Exibition -1924

Octagonal metal scent bottle with the enamelled British lion and the word Wembley on the front. Screw round cap with short wand. Made in occasion of the British Empire Exibition opened on St George’s Day, 23 April 1924, by King George V and Queen Mary. In the 1920s the British Empire comprised 58 countries, of which only Gambia and Gibraltar did not participate in the exhibition.
