Casket in gilded metal and enamel with two scent bottles, Etruscan revival style

Etruscan revival style scent bottle casket, made of 24 karats of gilt bronze (ormolu), hand-decorated with enamel champlevé in various colours. In a blue-lined interior are nested two round scent bottles enamelled in the same style, with hinged caps and their inner glass stoppers. The top of the case has a rectangular window with thick beveled glass. The four legs are shaped after figures of griffins with open wings.
