Curt Schlevogt – vetreria Jablonec n. Nisou (Gablonz)
Ingrid collection 1939/1940.
Launched in 1934 at the Leipzig Fair, the “Ingrid” collection (named after Schlevogt’s daughter) quickly became a symbol of Bohemian Art Deco glass. The line included hundreds of objects, from perfume bottles to vases, often made of “malachite” (green) or “lapis lazuli” (blue) glass. These bottles, while inspired by traditional Chinese snuff bottles of the Qing Dynasty, were produced in Europe as decorative objects or for the perfume market.
