Cut red glass scent bottle, souvenir of the Rakoczy spring in the Bavarian state spa of Bad Kissingen

Round, flat scent bottle in red thick glass wheel-carved to form the image of a building and the word Rakoczy in Gothic letters. On the back, the words Ausruhen an Kissingen (Resting in Kissingen). The Iron Fountain Hall (also called Fountain Pavilion and Fountain Temple), roofing over the Rakoczy and Pandur springs, in the Bavarian state spa of Bad Kissingen was built in 1841 by order of the Bavarian King Ludwig I, based on designs by the architect Friedrich von Gärtner, and inaugurated on May 15, 1842. It was the first engineering structure in Bavaria and one of the first buildings in Germany to be constructed entirely as a cast-iron skeleton structure, and at the time was considered the most outstanding fountain building of all European spas.
