Double scent bottle so called ‘Provender for the Monastery’ in Meissen porcelain. The monk, whose head is the first stopper, is carrying a basket of eggs and a dead goose, with a woman concealed in the bushel of wheat strapped to his back. The flower is the second cap.
This model, very popular because it was critical of the Catholic Church, was then reproduced with slight variations by various manufacturers until the end of the 19th century.
