Very rare 19th century Doulton Lambeth porcelain flacon with 14 carat gold mount (oak leaf mark) and stopper. The designer of this flacon, Clara S. Barker, was one of a talented group of women designers who joined Doulton in the 1870s (1876) and made it famous in the world of decorative ceramics. It bears the Doulton Lambeth mark and the engraved monograms of Clara Barker and Emily Welch, her assistant.
