Globular jasperware scent bottle featuring two scenes from Greek mythology. The letters BPC and the number 3727 are scratched on the bottom for for Brownhills Pottery Company who used initials B. P. Co. from 1872 – 1896. T. Silver cap full hallmarked for Sheffield, 1896/97, WWH silversmith (Willliam Wheatcraft Harrison). In Homer’s Iliad, Hebe helps her mother Hera hitch and prepare her war chariot before going into battle.
