Ivory amphora-shaped scent bottle with inserts in gilt metal and black enamel

Scent bottle made in an extremely thin marine mammal ivory shaped as an amphora and set with eleven small drops translucent black enamel within gilded metal cups on the body. The base features eight small round gilded metal inserts. An additional metal cup is present under the base. The neck is edged in metal (gold or gilded silver). The perforated gold ball closure ends with a cork stopper and is tied to the foot with a gold chain with rectangular links.
